When viewing pilot duty logs, the duty logs are not displayed in the local time where generated, but adjusted for the time zone the viewer is assigned to. In my case, I'm assigned to Phoenix in complete flight, but office in Texas.
When viewing a duty log generated in Eastern time zone, from my home office in Texas CT, the results are displayed as if I'm in Phoenix and are 3hours behind the actual local time the pilot entered.
This causes a preventable explanation to the FAA when wanting to view the records.
