Add "Previous 12 Months" Date Range to Report Automation

What Problem Will This Feature Fix?

When manually running a report, users can select a date range that covers the previous 12 months. However, Report Automation does not currently provide a Previous 12 Months option under Report Time Spans.

The available automated options include Previous Day, Previous 7 Days, Previous 30 Days, Previous 60 Days, Previous 90 Days, Previous Quarter, and Current Quarter, but there is no rolling 12-month option.

This requires users who need a 12-month report to manually run the report instead of being able to automate its delivery.

Story (Describe How This Feature Will Improve a Process Within Your Organization)

Add Previous 12 Months as an available Report Time Span when configuring an automated report.

For example:

• Previous Day

• Previous 7 Days

• Previous 30 Days

• Previous 60 Days

• Previous 90 Days

• Previous Quarter

• Previous 12 Months

• Current Quarter

The Previous 12 Months option should use a rolling 12-month period based on the date the automated report runs.

For example, if the report runs on September 28, 2026, it would report on the preceding 12 months according to the same date-range logic used when this period is selected manually.

Benefits

• Allows annual/rolling 12-month reports to be fully automated.

• Eliminates the need to manually run the same report each month.

• Provides consistency between manual reporting and Report Automation.

• Saves administrative time for customers who regularly review 12-month trends.

• Expands the existing Report Automation options with a commonly used reporting period.

Suggested Implementation

Add Previous 12 Months to the existing Report Time Spans selections within Report Automation and have it follow the same date logic already available when manually running a report by date.
