Automatic Timesheet Sign-Off

We have an issue where crew members are not signing their timesheets before the summary is sent to payroll. Therefore, we would like a feature where the system signs off the timesheet on a specific desired date. Automatically locking a timesheet feels like a fundamental requirement to ensure proper legal certainty regarding the documentation of working hours.

Currently, this means that if a pilot does not sign (and thereby lock) their timesheet, their salary can be paid based on a snapshot taken on the 5th (for us, usually generated via reports). However, the pilot can then freely manipulate their timesheet completely independently of what has already been processed for payroll. In this way, annual working hours, compensation claims, etc., can be freely altered afterward.

This should be of significant interest to other countries as well. We would greatly appreciate if the matter could be escalated.
