Currently, the system allows 0KB or corrupted files to be uploaded without any warning or validation. This is a concern for the following reasons:
A user may be experiencing internet connectivity, hardware, or other technical issues that result in a corrupted or incomplete file being saved — often without them realising it.
The user may genuinely believe they have uploaded a valid document, when in fact the file is completely unusable.
Consideration: Could we look at implementing a pre-upload validation check within Air Maestro / Ops and Safety Suite that detects 0KB or corrupted files and blocks the upload, displaying a clear and user-friendly warning message instead?
As a point of reference, I attempted to attach the 0KB TXT and PDF test files to this very conversation to demonstrate the behaviour — and as expected, the system did not allow me to attach them, which is exactly the kind of validation we would like to see within the platform.
