Currently, the Personnel Recency Items within the Recency Setup are managed as a single, centralised list. There is no ability to segregate or configure these items by department or cohort. As a result, departmental ownership is limited, and all changes must be funnelled through a single central contact. This creates operational inefficiencies, delays, and unnecessary dependency, even in cases where department managers have the appropriate knowledge and capability to manage their own recency requirements.
Enable Personnel Recency Items to be split and managed by department and/or cohort, allowing configuration to be segregated rather than globally applied.
This would include:
Configuration of recency items at a department or cohort level
Controlled, role‑based edit permissions for nominated department managers
Continued central visibility and governance across all departments
Increased ownership and accountability at the department level
Reduced administrative overhead and fewer support or configuration requests
Faster updates and greater accuracy from teams closest to the operational needs
Improved scalability and future proofing for multi department organisations
This enhancement would benefit not only our organisation but other customers operating with decentralised structures or multiple cohorts. While implementation effort is acknowledged, the long term gains in efficiency, usability, and customer value would be significant.
