Safety Report - email communication log

Within a safety report an Email Log tab displaying each email sent in relation to the safety report would be very useful to be able to provide evidence in an audit.

The fields that would be useful are Date, Time, Recipient, Subject and Body. Body may need to display in a pop-up or new window rather than in the grid.

Background

We have a requirement to close the loop with the reporter at the conclusion of the report. The way we currently do this is to email a summary of the report prior to closing the report. We do this only because it records that the email summary was sent.

When we close the report, a further email is sent to the reporter but this is not logged. If this was logged then we could skip the step of having to email the summary. Extending this further to a complete email log would be very helpful.
