Problem:
The current Admin/Member model is too coarse. Organisations cannot tailor what individual users or groups can see and do — for example, decoupling Insights access from full Admin rights, restricting contract pilots from operational dashboards, limiting view scope to current positions only, or having tiered admin levels.
Desired outcome:
Organisations can define roles (or assign per-user permissions) that control both the capabilities a user has (admin functions, Insights, account management) and the data scope they can access (current positions, last track, full history; specific aircraft or groups).
Proposed change:
Introduce a configurable role and permission model so admins can assign granular access — for capabilities, data scope, and admin tier — to users or groups, replacing the current binary model.
