Add cumulative aircraft-hour totals to Flight History on the desktop website

would like to view the total hours recorded for a selected aircraft over a specified date range on the desktop website. He intends to use this information to help forecast parts and maintenance requirements for the next season.

Current experience

Flight History can be filtered by date range and aircraft, and the resulting summary can be exported as a CSV. However, the website does not display a single cumulative total for the selected aircraft and period.

The mobile app already offers similar functionality through its Totals view, which displays Spider, Engine and Block hours by aircraft. The customer would like an equivalent view on the desktop platform.

Suggested improvement

Add a Totals view to Flight History on the desktop website that:

  • Calculates cumulative hours for the selected date range.

  • Displays totals by aircraft.

  • Clearly distinguishes between Spider, Engine and Block hours where those values are available.

  • Allows the results to be exported.

Important consideration

Spider time represents the period during which the Spider device is powered. It may not match the aircraft’s official time in service and should not be treated as the sole source of truth for maintenance planning. The website should clearly label the type of time being displayed and include an appropriate disclaimer.
