The Obstruction Database for the US lists 19,970 obstructions at 500ft or higher AGL. This list is generated within the FAA Obstruction database. This number will likely increase, because the FAA continues to update the list on their website about every other month.

Is there a way to upload all 19,970 obstructions that are 500 ft or higher AGL, and then put a cylindrical buffer around each location (can either be a fixed diameter or a formula such as 2x or 3x the AGL height), and extend the buffer by a distance above the height of the obstruction (say 250 vertical ft)?
My goal is to have an indicator that tells us when our fixed wing patrol planes are flying too close to towers. There have been several industry fatalities related to patrol planes hitting towers.
I was told that this request would likely not work because of the size of the geofences I'm requesting (too small). Typically geofences are several miles compared to the thousands of feet of area I'm requesting, so detection could be harder. Could you also verify if the volume we are attempting to input would be possible?
