The current Timesheet Mandatory setting only displays reminders and highlights outstanding timesheets. Despite its name, it does not require users to complete timesheets, prevent access, or enforce submission order.
Introduce an optional enforcement mode that allows organisations to:
Require outstanding timesheets to be completed before submitting newer timesheets.
Enforce chronological submission of timesheets.
Escalate overdue timesheets to managers.
Optionally restrict access to selected functions until mandatory timesheets are completed.
This enhancement would improve compliance, reduce manual follow-up, and provide more reliable data for FRMS, Work Practice calculations, discretion reports, and other compliance-related reporting. It would also better align the system's behaviour with user expectations of a feature called Timesheet Mandatory.
